Graphics and Illustrations by Jonathan Jeffery
Welcome
My name is Jonathan Jeffery. I am a graphic designer, illustrator and cartoonist based in Kent, UK. I have a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Kent.
For my programmes and flyers for South East London Orchestra (SELO) concerts, I produced the print-ready artwork and identified images that relate to the pieces being performed.
During my degree course, I designed brands for an alcohol-free gin Free Spirit and a food/drink mashup King Prawn Pale Ale; two projects both commissioned by JDO.
Since graduating, I worked with a speech and language therapist to design, illustrate, and produce four early learner reading books, Off the Blox With Language for preschools and primary schools.
I have a unique style of illustration and cartooning and like to be creative in my designs. I illustrated and produced freelance cartoon commissions for clients, including golf greeting cards and portraits.
In 2021, I sketched and photographed trees at Knole Park and turned them into illustrated creatures based on their shapes and forms. I formed a collection of ten tree creatures entitled
The Arboretum of Curiosities.
